Career opportunity: CFO

The Chief Financial Officer is heading our Finance & Accounting team at FOM. The Finance & Accounting team consist of the CFO, an account payables and a Finance manager. The company have established a wholly owned sales company (FOM Technologies Inc.) in Seattle (US). In May 2024 FOM acquired a small Swedish production company located in Helsingborg. Today rebranded as FOM Technologies AB. The CFO is responsible for book-keeping, accounting, financial controlling and all financial reporting (IFRS) for the group. The candidate will work closely in supporting the CEO with strategic tasks, confidential projects and further digitalization of the Finance & Accounting department.

Work responsibilities:

  • To professionalise, digitalize and manage the department through Microsoft 365 Business Central (BC), and related apps.
  • To be responsible for all financial accounts, book-keeping, salaries, VAT and controlling.
  • To be responsible for al financial reporting (H1 + AR) under IFRS, and monthly management reporting.
  • To control, monitor an optimized physical stock/inventory level.
  • To improve the company’s profitability on custom project.
  • To implement Microsoft 365 Business Central in FOM Technologies Inc, and FOM Technologies AB.

Academic requirements:

  • Academic background from economy and finance.
  • Super user experience with Microsoft 365 Business Central (BC).
  • Fluent in English – both oral and written (Corporate Language is English)
  • Hands-on experience in Finance & Accounting disciplines:
  • Cost cutting and improving of working capital.
  • Practical experience from managing financial ressources.
  • Strong proficiency in book-keeping, accounting, controlling and financial reporting (IFRS).

Interpersonal and Collaborative skills:

  • Excellent at creating professional relationships with financial stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a lot of projects/task at the same time.
  • Very structured and excellent at planning.
  • A doer, an executor and very result oriented with attention to details and documentation.
  • Hard working and diligent.
  • A team player that takes great responsibilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and keen to work in a dynamic, professional and international team.

Additional:

  • Management responsibilities for number of head counts: 2
  • Travel activity during a year: 0-20 days (excluding visits to FOM Technologies AB).
  • Reporting to: The CEO of FOM Technologies A/S .
  • The role will be based in Copenhagen – Denmark.
