Project Manager, PLM
KK Wind Solutions A/S (KKWS) seeks an adept professional to fill the pivotal role of Project Manager for PLM Readiness.
Position Overview:
As KKWS undergoes significant growth, we are poised to embark on the next phase of developing our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system (E2E). As the Project Manager, you will operate within the Product & Engineering Solutions (P&ES) department, alongside 8-10 skilled Program and Project Managers, within our recently established Project Management Office. Your primary objective will be to spearhead the end-to-end implementation of the PLM setup, encompassing processes, tools, and systems within P&ES as part of our broader focus on Business Unit 2.
Key Responsibilities:
You will play a vital role in solidifying KKWS’s foundation for executing our long-term objectives (KK Global). In this capacity, you will take ownership of projects, managing them through to implementation within the organization. These projects will be integral components of a larger integration program spanning KKWS’s value chain functions. Your tasks will include:
- Leading project implementation based on defined scope and objectives.
- Mentoring, managing, and inspiring team members.
- Maintaining close communication with SterCo and collaboration partners.
- Providing progress updates and risk assessments to the Program Manager.
- Ensuring operational excellence within BU2 and aligning with KK’s overarching model.
- Collaborating with Program management and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Developing detailed project plans outlining critical milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Overseeing system integration, including selecting and customizing the new PLM system to meet organizational needs.
- Coordinating with IT and Operations for technical aspects of PLM integration.
- Facilitating cross-functional collaboration between Operations, IT, and Customer Engineering teams.
- Ensuring PLM system compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Providing comprehensive status reports to executive teams and stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement through the new PLM system.
Professional Requirements:
We seek an experienced Project Manager ideally with a background in a similar role within a global company. To excel in this position, you should possess:
- 5+ years of experience and a proven track record in leading tech projects and internal improvements.
- A minimum bachelor’s degree.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to support and train the development of other project managers.
- Flexibility to travel approximately 10 days per year.
- Support for KKWS’s development journey within the Project Execution model and CMMI Level.
- Fluent English proficiency in both speaking and writing.

Additional Requirements:
Given KKWS’s focus on renewable energy, a passion for sustainability is essential. Fluency in English is imperative due to our global market presence. The position will be based at either our Ikast or Hammel offices, with flexibility for remote work.
