EHSQ Manager — Denmark

Denmark · Independent role, high impact · Danish and English required

Are you the one who makes EHSQ real?

This is a role for someone who believes EHSQ is about people and trust — not paperwork. You will lead EHSQ across a major Danish environmental operation, with freedom to shape your own priorities, build your team, and drive genuine change. This is not a role where you maintain the status quo — you drive the agenda in close cooperation with Operations.

The company

A well-established, purpose-driven European environmental services business that has been removing hazardous risk from industry and society for many years. EHSQ is not a function bolted on here: it is woven into the identity of the organisation. You will find a management team ready to be led.

What you will do

Leading a small team of EHSQ professionals, you will work across four areas:

  • Safety leadership & culture — safety walks, root cause analysis, CEO/COO support, building awareness of the WHY behind every requirement.
  • Communication & trust with Operations — one shared understanding of EHSQ, rules made understandable, dialogue not dictate.
  • Legal compliance & regulatory affairs — read the law and its intent, maintain full regulatory overview, manage authority relationships constructively.
  • Systems & continuous improvement — ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001, build procedures and structures fit for a growing organisation.

Who you are

  • Master’s degree in a technical field, 5 years of EHSQ experience in a production or process environment.
  • A communicator who adapts from shop floor to boardroom — Danish and English.
  • Earns trust through presence and follow-through, not authority.
  • Self-driven, strong overview, does not need to be told what to do next.
  • Makes rules understandable; pushes for change with persistence and a positive mindset.

What we offer

  • Real freedom to operate in a high-impact role with genuine environmental purpose.
  • Competitive package — fitness, healthcare and flexible benefits.
