We are located in Farum, north from Copenhagen and are looking for a:

Team lead – Manufacturing

Production planning, process optimization and people management

As our new Team lead, you will be responsible for the assembly line, repair services, QA and building maintenance. You manage a team of 7 people and work closely together with the Production Engineering department and the Supply Chain department. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager. The team is motivated, and processes are working well, but you find it natural to work with the team to improve further – on an individual level and with the overall procedures.

Key Responsibilities

There will be good opportunities to shape the role, but you will among other things be responsible for:

  • Team leader for the assembly process in the factory and organizing the workflow set out in the master production schedule and resource plans managed by planning
  • Plan and coordinate production orders and resources in close cooperation with SCM
  • Oversee that the staff has sufficient training to handle their job functions
  • Ensure as good work environment including work rotation and team skills development
  • Short- and long-term development plans for the team
  • Continually improving the production flow and quality processes related to production
  • Organize tools and equipment needed for ensuring the production process of quality products
  • Manage Production Technics involvement in the creation/design of new products by participating in R&D design reviews, to assure production friendly designs and prepare for the new products in the factory. Plan and participate in new products “Hand-over to production”
  • Ensure that the manufacturing is done in accordance with written instructions, follow the correct processes and use the right equipment.
  • Close and finalize production orders in the ERP-system
  • Ensure that shipping routines and processes are followed
  • Hands-on when needed to get the orders shipped on time – we are a preferred supplier to Motorola, Airbus and L3H and put the customer in focus all the time.
  • Manage quality deviations on parts found during production
  • Facility management

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, skills, and experience.

Most likely, you hold a degree in Engineering, or another education focused on production or process improvements. You have several years of experience in production management and feel confident in the role covering both people management and the assembly process. You have a structured and pragmatic approach to hands-on problem solving, and quality focus is embedded in your DNA.
