About the position

Sunclass Airlines is looking for a dynamic, strategic-minded Transformation Manager to lead our efforts in driving organizational change, operational efficiency, and growth. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in defining and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance our competitive advantage in the aviation industry. This role requires a blend of execution power, analytical expertise, and strong communication skills to help us achieve our long-term goals.

Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Transformation Manager’s key responsibilities will be:

  • Strategic Planning and program alignment: Ensure that all transformation projects and programs are aligned with the company’s overall strategic objectives, working closely with senior leadership to identify and prioritize key initiatives, manage resource allocation and track project impact on organizational goals
  • Program Governance and Methodology: Establish and enforce transformation program management standards, methodologies, and best practices across the organization, ensuring consistency in execution and follow up to support delivery of initiatives and roadmaps. Work closely with Business Intelligence team to secure Key Performance Indicators that track the success of our transformation programs
  • Own and drive Cost Journey program: Collaborate with all teams across Sunclass Airlines to secure delivery on cost initiatives aimed at optimizing Sunclass cost base and be the overall owner of the cost excellence project. Identify areas for efficiency improvement and cost reduction while maintaining high safety and quality standards
  • Own and drive On Time Performance program: Take on ownership of the strategic OTP project. Collaborate with operational departments to drive the OTP program and assure delivery of quality targets
  • Business Development and partnerships: Together with senior management, identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations that can enhance the airline’s growth prospects
  • Communication and stakeholder management: Generate regular reports and presentations for executive leadership and the board of directors, highlighting progress on strategic initiatives, key performance indicators, and areas of concern

Who we are looking for

Must haves:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Economics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, business development, or a related role within a company or consulting company
  • Expertise in making data driven power point presentations for senior management level

Preferred:

  • Passion and/or experience for the aviation industry
  • Knowledge of one or more Scandinavian language

Personal characteristics:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, market trends, and financial reports
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to think creatively, adapt to changing circumstances, and make effective decisions under pressure
  • Great perseverance in securing delivery of initiatives and projects

You will be based at our office in Copenhagen Airport South Dragør where we have access to free parking and to public transportation.

The role is a full-time position with flexibility for working from home in accordance with our hybrid policy and in agreement with your immediate manager.
