Senior Project Manager

We are looking for a new Senior Project Manager to help drive groundbreaking key projects for DOVISTA within product development. In this role, your experience can help transform the way we approach project management and shape our processes, models and associated toolbox.

Your responsibilities
You will report directly to the Director of Product Excellence and will be responsible for managing strategically important projects while also contributing to advancing how DOVISTA approaches project management for larger initiatives within R&D, product development, and product management. In this role, you will engage with a range of key stakeholders and collaborate with sales departments, production facilities, product management, and procurement across various countries. Additionally, you will work closely with DOVISTA’s senior management team.
Other tasks could be:
- Manage projects by providing daily leadership and clear communication within and around the project.
- Define and plan your activities based on agreed high-level deliverables.
- Organize and facilitate meetings and workshops, ensuring objectives are achieved.
- Establish and execute project workflows, including regular workshops, weekly project meetings, flash reports, and steering committee updates.
- Lead a diverse team of specialists and coordinators from various parts of the organization, driving excellence through effective coaching and mentoring.
- Coordinate the development of future business cases within projects and secure approval for subsequent steps from the Product Board.
This is not just a project execution role—you will actively shape how we run projects, develop new products, and improve collaboration across our business.
Your qualifications
You bring a relevant technical bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent qualifications, to the role, combined with at least 8-10 years of relevant experience in larger organizations. Experience in harmonizing and modularizing product platforms across borders is a strong advantage. In addition to being an accomplished project manager, your expertise includes business models, process optimization, budgeting, asset planning, and team development. You likely have a background in a similar role as a senior project manager or project manager where you have some experience in creating governance and structure in a growth process working from idea to project launch. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant project management tools is essential, and fluency in English is a requirement.
On a personal level, you approach development projects with initiative and a structured mindset. Your strong communication skills, combined with your organized and disciplined approach, enable you to execute projects effectively. You are ambitious yet empathetic, taking the time to listen to and understand stakeholders across different countries. You are assertive, thrive in a matrix organization, and have the ability to motivate and coach the people you work with. You maintain a clear overview while staying focused on the most relevant details that matter to your project.
