Sales Excellence Business Developer

In this role, you will work within the Sales Excellence team reporting to the Global Sales Excellence Director. In addition to the rest of the team, you will collaborate closely with the responsible General Managers in global regions, local sales managers in sales companies, and play the role as a trusted advisor to the business Unit Teams.  You will be responsible for leading and implementing strategic projects within sales excellence in line with business priorities and future state business objectives. Working alongside the global sales leadership and the rest of the team, you will design and execute the necessary sales tools and training programs to ensure that the sales force achieves their set goals. You will work across different departments and drive continuous improvements while also energizing and nurturing the Sales community. You will become an integral part of the commercial academy and will coordinate and communicate the learning courses, collaborating with trainers and candidates to ensure a seamless learning experience for both learners and managers.

Other tasks can include:

  • Develop customer and commercial insights, data, and analytics across all areas of the business.
  • Ensure a prompt response to updates required for the Sales framework, toolbox, or handbook based on learning loops.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives related to customers.
  • Participate in building digital sales communities where collective learning can be fostered across regional sales companies and best practice shared.

You will be successful in this role if you, together with the team, create tools that are successfully utilized by the sales companies. Additionally, it is also important that the knowledge generated is disseminated, applied, and provides commercial value to Struers in the short term. 

Your Experience and Skills

You are likely currently in a similar role where you have been working on Sales Excellence, transformation and Sales Enablement in a global organization for at least 5 years. Alternatively, you may come from a consulting background, where you have the desire to get closer to decision-making, execute initiatives, and, most importantly, see them through to completion. You may have an academic background such as a Master of Science in Business or Engineering, and you have achieved results in operational efficiency in sales management. You have experience in project management and have worked on facilitating workshops and creating and delivering presentations at various levels. You think conceptually and may have experience in creating and building digital communities where mutual inspiration can occur across the global regions.

As a person, you have plenty of energy, joy, and enthusiasm, and you thrive on working in virtual teams – but also on visiting local sales companies and working on stakeholder management. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and are used to work on all levels in an organisation. You are able to work independently while understanding the nuances of effective cooperation with team members. You are proactive, analytical and determined to deliver high-quality solutions and exceed expectations. You are a ‘go-doer’ and are motivated to get things done. You speak English at a high level and have experience working with CRM system and analytics.
