About the role

To realize our growth plans and take us to the next level, we’re looking for an experienced, dedicated and strategic VP of Sales to join our team. In this role, your overall responsibility is to build and lead our sales teams, execute sales strategies, and craft the metrics that fuel and accelerate growth.

You will foster a collaborative and high performing environment, where people grow and exceed their goals. You do this with excellent communication and guidance and by taking ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle including setting sales forecasts, quotas and pricing strategies.

At ComplyCloud, the team is in the forefront of everything we do, and you will of course be working cross-functionally with both the leadership team and the commercial team.

You will report directly to the CEO.

What you’ll be doing

To succeed in this role, you will:

  • use your previous SaaS experience building and leading successful sales teams to achieve targets and objectives within complex, technical sales
  • focus on the big picture! How can we upsell and cross-sell? Which verticals and industries should we target next? How do we keep evolving our ICPs?
  • along with your sales team leaders, you’ll remove obstacles and drive training and development of our Sales Development Representatives and our Account Executives
  • forecast on a weekly and monthly basis to identify where improvements can be made along with anticipating market trends
  • identify areas for improvement and come up with actionable insights for improved sales and profit
  • oversee sales pipeline management, deal progression and negotiations

What you bring

We are looking for a superb communicator, an enthusiastic and analytic person, who has the willingness to get into the trenches when necessary to make sure we deliver. You have a solid foundation in data and a proven track record of directing and scaling a sales function (ideally in a B2B SaaS context). You have several years of experience building and managing a SaaS pipeline of new business. You also have technical aptitude and the ability to learn new and complex concepts quickly.

You know how to set direction, you love to overcome hurdles, and you have an optimistic attitude – all of which you bring into play with your direct reports, leadership team and colleagues.
