Global Key Account Manager – Service

For KK Wind Solutions A/S (KKWS) we are looking for a Global Key Account Manager to continue the growth of the service business at KKWS. This is a specialist role at KKWS and the role will contribute significantly to the total business of KKWS.

Purpose of position:

KKWS has throughout the years supplied to thousands of wind turbines throughout the world. This fact and the fact that the future will bring more wind turbines with a continued more complex configuration generates the need for a focused service business at KKWS. In short the role of the new Global KAM, Service is to drive the sales from a stage of at a business development level to become a “closed deal” in a specific territory and to specific customers who typically have a global operation.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

The position refers the VP, Global Service Sales at KKWS. The Global KAM, Service will work closely together with the colleagues in the KKWS Service organization and the KKWS organization as such in order to ensure the highest possible sales results. We are looking for an individual, who wants to become part of an ambitious service sales culture with a strong team spirit and a great drive, i.e. in other words a hands-on, fully committed global business developer.

Key Tasks:

  • Be the “go-to-person” for assigned accounts and ultimately responsible for sales results to these
  • Establish relationships with technical key influencers, decision makers and manage the entire sales process
  • Promote and establish KK Wind Solutions position as a key player in the local market and identify technical opportunities
  • Provide sales support expertise, conducts in-depth technical discussions with customer

Professional Competences:

We are looking for an experienced professional who preferably have experience from a similar role in a global company. Your background could be from either a technical/electrical background where you have found yourself in a role in the commercial side of the business or directly experience with a similar role in sales, preferably in sales of service, after-sales service, etc., i.e. a solid background in Solutions/Consultative sales approach and process with ability to translate business needs to product solutions.

The most important thing to succeed in this position is that your hands are properly trained, and that you take pride in delivering a good job, and you are not satisfied until the task is completed. We value especially experience within customer service and insights in maintenance. You probably hold a bachelor in either Business Administration, International Sales, Electrical Engineer or similar. You also have a substantial field experience in wind industry with sales of spare parts or similar.

Candidates with 5-10 years of experience from a technical position, wind industry or electrical engineering experience have an advantage in the position. Your working style is characterized with a passion for customer and supplier contact and you take pride in helping your colleagues. You work in a structured way and you are thorough, but capable of staying cool and maintaining an overview of the matters in hectic periods.

Other specific requirements:

KKWS works in the renewable industry. It is therefore important that you have a passion for the renewable energy agenda for a sustainable future on the globe. And as KKWS works on the global market it is imperative that you are fluent in English in both speaking and writing. The expected no. of annual travel days is approx.. 50. The primary workplace is at KKWS HQ in Ikast.
