The VELUX Group is on a huge transitional journey connecting even closer to the end-users in creating the best and most relevant customer experience possible. They are transforming the digital capabilities and is looking for a Director Digital Operation & Continuous Improvement. This is currently teams of a total of 20-25 highly engaged and motivated colleagues currently responsible for the global marketing sites, including content managers, product owners, ux, channel and SCRUM managers. VELUX is currently re-designing the digital customer experience as part of a very strong growth strategy to win Heart and Mind of the customers. The web experience is the beating heart of the future customer experience design and is central to the experience within the full ecosystems across channels. Central to this transformation is the implementation of a new CDP (BloomReach) connected to Sitecore Platforms

Your challenges
Joining Global Brand Marketing, you will be part of a +100 person organisation working to enable VELUX regional sales companies to reach their ambitious sales goals, while at the same time VELUX will lead the way by setting the global standard on sustainable business and become a CO2 neutral company.

Your team will have the overall responsibility of all our Global marketing websites. The development, maintenance, optimization and deployment of new digital capabilities and tools to these. The web experience will be the center of driving and nurturing leads enabling VELUX to take stronger ownership of the individual customer experience.

As we are embarking on our new strategic direction and introducing new capabilities within our customer experience approach and with a revised Mar-Tech landscape the operating model and hence the organisation will have to adapt to this new reality and through this transition evolve, getting the most out of the new tools, and creating value for the business.

This position will play an instrumental role in ensuring the implementation and anchoring of the new Targeted Marketing direction and capabilities. At the same time we need to ensure operations and support of existing systems, tolls and capabilities across the organisation.

You will be based at the VELUX Head Office in Hørsholm, north of Copenhagen, and be a part of a global organisation. You can expect to travel approximately 30 days annually – both nationally and internationally.

Your Qualifications
You are a native digital marketeer – with a solid technical background, holistic understanding of the digital (web) ecosystem and of the dependencies across the digital experience design. You have a customer first mindset, and know how to pass this approach to your team, delivering solutions and experiences serving consumers and customers. You have experience working with global CMS, preferably Sitecore. You have a successful track record  as a manager from a position working with focus on web development (front-end and back-end), coordinating internal and external teams, and you know the possibilities in systems like BloomReach or similar, ideally from the agency side, maybe combined with experience from an international corporate environment, where you have been responsible for creating change, continuously developing the digital experiences we offer.  Your knowledge and experience, together with your strategic mindset, drive and your ability to lead means you can create change, build the future and create an inspiring working environment for your team. The ideal candidate has a technical background, experience with a wide range of online marketing tools/disciplines and experience with personalisation working with a complex Tech-stack and familiar with technologies such as CDP, BloomReach, Sitecore, Hubspot or similar.

You have a sense of urgency combined with the ability to execute and you are an excellent communicator and can easily collaborate with people from very different backgrounds – both internally and externally. It is important that you have experience working in an international setting and that you can engage comfortably with many different stakeholders across all levels. As you will engage with stakeholders throughout our global organisation, you must be fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
