The VELUX Group recently have restructured their Global Brand Marketing and they are now looking for a Director who will head 20+ passionate marketeers divided into 4 professional and motivated teams, responsible for the global marketing support, within 4 areas, to the different Regions. In this position you become part of a agile and dedicated management group, become part of setting the global vision and directions within marketing and you will get opportunity to work will many exiting aspects of business driven marketing and make an impact across the entire global VELUX organisation.

Your challenges

Joining Global Brand Marketing, you will be part of an organisation working to enable VELUX Regions to grow and develop their business and presence in their respective regions. Your team is responsible for developing, supporting, co-creating and executing on many different aspects of international marketing in close collaboration with the Regions and other parts of VELUX Brand Marketing. You will be an important contributor to the Management Team within Global Brand Marketing (Global Marketing) working closely with the other managers across functions.

As the Director of Global Marketing Support, you will be:

  • Responsible for driving development and setting the overall directions for how VELUX HQ will support the Regions. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • BtB Marketing towards the Installers and building communities, finding new ways to grow the sales of products, accessories, a new reward system and more
    • Experience Marketing which includes internal/external international events such as, cooperation with Roskilde Festival, Astralis E-Sport, Pas Normal Studios and others, and looking into new global hospitality possibilities
    • Agency relationship/Projects with in-house agency, looking into and developing the current global setup and finding new ways on how to create even more value on a global and Regional level strengthening and maturing the partnership. The team includes Project Managers working on different marketing projects and an internal visuals team, who do deliver photos and shorter videos of VELUX products
    • Professional House Builders team A team driving the marketing development together with some of the largest professional house builders in Europe, ensuring great indoor climate and daylight as standard.

You will be based at the VELUX Head Office in Hørsholm, north of Copenhagen, and be a part of a global organisation. You can expect to travel approximately 30-40 days annually – both nationally and internationally.

Your Qualifications

You have a passion for and a minimum of 10 years with marketing, ideally in an international corporate environment, where you have been responsible for setting the direction, motivating a team and executing the strategy.  Your knowledge and experience, together with your strategic mindset and your ability to lead means you can quickly identify the most impactful opportunities and you understand how to work in an environment with strong and independent regional hubs, co-creating, collaborating with- and supporting them. The ideal candidate has experience with a wide range of marketing disciplines from traditional print, BtB, BtC, Hospitality, Events, Agency contact, various projects and more.

You are an excellent communicator and can easily collaborate with people from very different backgrounds – both internally and externally. It is important that you have experience working in an international setting and that you can engage comfortably with many different stakeholders across all levels. As you will engage with stakeholders throughout our global organisation, you must be fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
