Requirement System Process Owner

As Requirement System Process Owner, you will join the Tools & Applications department consisting of 7 dedicated colleagues in Denmark and collaborating with a 3rd party offshore team handling all development. We are responsible for the VELUX Group having a stable and well-performing PLM and CAD platform – and your area of responsibility will be to ensure the business process needs within Requirement and Test management are supported optimally by our Windchill Requirement, Validation & Source platform.

Your challenges

As our new Requirement System Process Owner, you will have a broad exposure, and you will provide 2nd level support towards users, facilitate the Subject Matter Expert forum within Requirement and Test management and extract the essence of new business needs popping up. Together with the Solution architect, you will propose system solutions that will support the end-to-end business processes optimally.

As we are embarking on a digital product journey, you will also act as sounding board to the business users and management team on how we should connect the dots to ensure the system is enabled for the future needs, while simultaneously setup to be as streamlined and user friendly as possible for today’s needs.

As the VELUX Group is connecting our Product data, you will have an interface to you colleagues working on other PLM applications, and ensure the system solutions are enhanced in alignment.

Other tasks and responsibilities:

  • Facilitating the enhancement process – ensuring transparency, gate meetings are setup, prepare decision papers
  • Together with the solution architect ensure the documentation for Windchill RV&S is in place
  • Provide relevant training – create and execute training material
  • Support on upgrades and upgrade plans / involving relevant users
  • Be sounding board to business stakeholders and solution architect
  • You will work closely together in our governance flow with Business Process Owners, Subject Matter Experts and Key users

The team is based in Østbirk and you must be able to be onsite at least on average 1 day/ biweekly, preferably more often. You can expect to travel approximately 5-10 days annually to other locations – both nationally and internationally.

Your qualifications

You have 3-5 years of relevant experience and process knowledge from working with requirements and/or validation of Product requirements related to product development. Ideally from a setup with connected objects – working with requirements in an Eco-system context in a larger organisation. You have interest in how tools support business process and have experience from a similar role as a System Process Owner or System engineer. Ideally you have been working with Windchill RV&S or a similar Requirement Management System.

As you will work in a matrix organisation you have great stakeholder management skill, making you capable to communicate with many different stakeholders at different levels – from the IT technician to the business manager. As you will be working in an international environment but based in Denmark, we expect that you speak and write English as well as Danish at a professional level.
