Product Manager, Windows

Do you have a thorough understanding of and interest in customer perspective and market requirements within product management? Are you an excellent communicator who knows how to motivate and influence others and would you like to boost our team with your expertise and commercial mindset?

We are currently looking for a Product Manager to join our Global Product Management team with the responsibility of being a commercial representative in product development from idea to finished products within the Windows Category alongside providing advisory within the VELUX product assortment to our sales companies.

Your challenges

Working as part of the product development value stream, your primary role will be to secure market driven specifications of products requirements, collect sales estimates from our sales companies and secure initiation of product launch preparation.

You will be part of a dedicated team and will play an important role participating in projects, workshops and meetings, providing and presenting market input. Your workplace is at the Head Office in Hørsholm but being part of a global organisation, you can expect to travel approx. 30-40 days per year – primarily in Denmark.

In addition to supporting our sales companies in answering product specific questions and participating in other cross-functional projects, you will be responsible for coordinating product transitions and inform countries about product changes.

Your qualifications

We imagine that you have a Commercial Degree and have 5+ years of experience working with product development or related tasks focused on technical products. Furthermore, you have some years of experience from working with project management.

Competencies such as strong communication and collaboration skills are ‘a must’. You enjoy working with lots of different types of people and you always look at projects from a commercial perspective. It is important that you can navigate within a matrix organisation with many stakeholders and that you can drive results in this type of environment.

Your strong points are your business-oriented, analytical and structured approach and your ability to deliver quality solutions on time. You can translate product technical information to non-subject matter experts in a clear and understandable way.

On a personal level, you have the desire to move things forward, getting your energy from achieving goals and being a self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude.

You have a strong command of English and Danish, both written and spoken.
