Product Manager – Accessories

Do you have a thorough understanding of and interest in customer perspective and market requirements? And would you like to boost our team with your expertise and commercial mindset? Then we have the position you are looking for.

We are currently looking for a new product manager to join our Global Product Management team with the overall responsibility to participate as the commercial representative in the product development process from idea to finished products within the Accessories Category. In addition, you provide product support within the VELUX® product assortment to our Sales companies and regions.

Your Challenges:
Working as part of the product development value stream, your primary role will be to secure market-driven specifications of product requirements, collect sales estimates from our sales companies and secure initiation of product launch preparation.

You will be part of a dedicated team and play an important role as you:

  • Participate in projects, workshops and meetings
  • Provide and present market input
  • Support our sales companies in answering product-specific questions

Adding to this, you participate in other cross-functional projects just as you will be responsible for coordinating product transitions and informing countries about product changes.
You can expect to travel approx. 30-40 days per year – primarily in Denmark.

Your qualifications

We imagine that you have a commercial degree and 3-5 years’ experience working with product development or related tasks, focusing mainly on technical products. Furthermore, you have some years of experience from working with project management.

Competencies such as strong communication and collaboration skills are a must. You enjoy working with lots of different types of people, and you can easily translate technical product information to non-specialists in a clear and understandable way.

With your strong business-oriented approach, you always look at projects from a commercial perspective as well as deliver quality solutions in time. On a personal level, you have the desire to move things forward, getting your energy from achieving goals.

It is important that you can navigate within a matrix organisation with many stakeholders and drive results in this type of environment.

You have a good command of English and Danish, both written and spoken.
