Controls and SW Engineer
Automotive Depollution Systems – Innovative technologies – Model based development – SW engineering
You will be working in a very competent, internationally oriented R&D team. The Controls and Software team is an important part of the Amminex R&D responsible for development of the ASDS (Ammonia Storage and Delivery System) embedded software as well as control and diagnostic algorithms as well as the embedded software and works closely together with the whole organization and the customers. The environment is informal with focus on collaboration and getting products and projects to the finishing line on time. You will be working with cutting-edge development tools used in automotive industry. Automatic code generation technology under Matlab/Simulink environment is utilized to develop the embedded software. The software is run in rapid prototyping platforms as well as proprietary electronic control units.
Your tasks will include developing controls, algorithms and embedded software and implementation of control and diagnostic algorithms, software for existing ASDS and new ASDS product lines, integrating ASDS and control software to vehicles and test set-ups, building and running test set-ups for their validation. Furthermore, you will function as technical support for both your colleagues and external customers. In collaboration with the customers, you explore how the ASDS is used optimally in their specific case.
You have a master degree in engineering within mechanical, electronics, mechatronics, control or similar, and you have at least 3 years of hands-on experience within the outlined tasks.
You are able to adapt to new systems, and you are good at dealing with complex systems. You may not know everything in advance, but you are able to learn complex algorithms and you have a good understanding of the automotive industry and electronics. Good skills with C programming, Matlab, Simulink, CAN Bus communication, embedded systems and electronics is required.
